Harry Redknapp returns to work for the first time since 2017 as he rejoins Bournemouth - the club where he launched his managerial career in 1983 - to help caretaker boss Jonathan Woodgate as Cherries search for new manager to replace Jason Tindall

Harry Redknapp has been drafted in by Bournemouth caretaker boss Jonathan Woodgate to help out until the club find a successor to Jason Tindall.

Woodgate, who played under Redknapp at Tottenham between 2008 and 2011, oversaw the Cherries' 3-2 victory over Birmingham on Saturday.

The south coast club was Redknapp's first managerial role, spending nine years there from 1983-1992 and leading them to the Third Division title in 1987.
