Crystal Palace offer Ryan Fraser a contract as he waits to make his next move after leaving Bournemouth

Ryan Fraser has been offered a contract by Crystal Palace.

Winger Fraser is a free agent after leaving Bournemouth when his contract expired on June 30.

Fraser's Bournemouth deal, signed back in February 2017 when he was just starting to make an impression at the top level, was initially worth £27,000-a-week.

The Cherries were willing to reward Fraser with a more lucrative long-term deal as he became a more established Premier League performer but his preference was to see out his contract down and leave on a free this summer.

Palace are keen to reduce their wage bill and bring down average age of their squad, which peaked at 31 during the season, and at 26 Fraser would help towards that.
