Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace will be the BBC's first EVER live Premier League game on Saturday, June 20 during first weekend of action

The BBC will show Bournemouth versus Crystal Palace on Saturday, June 20 as their first live match of the Premier League era, with broadcasters finalising the split of fixtures.

The corporation have been granted four live matches that they can show free-to-air when football comes flooding back following the shutdown — and the match from the Vitality Stadium will kick things off.

It will be the first live top-flight match on the BBC for 32 years. The last game shown by the Beeb was Tottenham against Arsenal back in March 1988 — a 2-1 win for the Gunners.
