Bournemouth are closing on a £1million deal for Fleetwood Town’s highly rated centre back James Hill.
The Championship side have moved quickly to replace experienced Steve Cook who left for Nottingham Forest this week on a free transfer.
Talks are at an advanced stage for England U20 international Hill who has attracted interest from a host of clubs and he is expected for a medical on Wednesday.
Sheffield United, Burnley, Leeds, Southampton, Tottenham and even Barcelona have all checked on his progress since he emerged as Fleetwood’s youngest ever player in 2018.
