Tony Mowbray admitted Blackburn may not be able to keep hold of star striker Ben Brereton Diaz if a Premier League suitor comes calling in January.
The 22-year-old has hit 17 goals this season to help Rovers up to fourth in the Championship, and played a major part in an impressive 2-0 win at Bournemouth.
The Chile international reacted fastest when Mark Travers saved Darragh Lenihan’s header, turning the ball on to the bar then in via Ben Pearson’s face. Jan Paul van Hecke’s second-half header sealed the win.
Mowbray knows such performances will only increase interest.
