Arsenal have reportedly scrapped their plans to sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale this summer because the Blades will not reduce their £30million asking price.
The Gunners are interested in signing a new goalkeeper as competition for current No 1 Bernd Leno and had identified the 23-year-old England star as an option.
But Arsenal were quoted £30m by the Championship side, who only signed Ramsdale from Bournemouth in the summer of 2020 for an initial £18.5m.

As Sportsmail reported earlier this week, Arsenal and Sheffield United held talks on Wednesday but the Gunners were keen to keep their initial outlay down to a fee in the region of £20m with add-ons pushing the deal closer to the Blades' price tag.
