The Citi Field crowd went nuts when Matt Harvey emerged from the Mets dugout to start the ninth inning of Game 5 of the 2015 World Series.
For good reason, too.
For the first eight innings of Sunday night's game, Harvey had been everything Mets fans could have possibly wanted, and then some.
Eight innings, four hits, zero earned runs, one walk, nine strikeouts: Harvey had been "The Dark Knight," and most baseball fans had good reason to think he had all but assured the Mets of at least one more game Tuesday night in Kansas City.
