What Craig Breslow said about possible Roman Anthony promotion

The Red Sox entered Wednesday having scored just five runs in a four-game losing streak. The team has been “starved for offense” since Alex Bregman went down with a quadriceps strain, per Alex Speier of The Boston Globe.

Boston is sixth in the league in runs scored, but things have dried up lately. They’ve dropped to fourth place in the AL East.

There has been speculation that the Red Sox could soon call for reinforcements, such as top overall prospect Roman Anthony who is hitting .320 with eight home runs and 23 RBI with Triple-A Worcester this season.
