The last time we saw former Red Sox player Will Middlebrooks, he struggled through a 2014 season with a number of injuries, rehabbing in the minors. and having a slash of .191/.256/.265.
On December 19, 2014, Middlebrooks was traded to San Diego for Ryan Hanigan. There he played third base and some shortstop.He went back to the minors on July 22 and on December 2 became a free agent. His slash was .212/.241/.36l,only slight improvement.
