The Red Sox Pre-Cap Podcast: Recapping the A’s and Previewing the Angeles

The Red Sox dropped two of three games against A’s at home and as a result no longer have the best record in the American League. In the first game of the series, Nathan Eovaldi bounced back from his past couple of rough starts to go six strong innings before handing it over to Darwinzon Hernandez. The lefty had another rough outing allowing two runs with poor control. On the other side, Chiss Bassit looked like an ace, mowing down the Sox offense that was only able to muster four hits for the entire game.

In the second game of the series, Eduardo Rodriguez struggled a bit en route giving up four runs over six innings, though he did strike out nine.
