Teen accused of carrying loaded gun during Red Sox parade arraigned

The 17-year-old from Somerville accused of carrying a loaded gun during the Red Sox World Series victory parade Wednesday was arraigned on gun- and drug-related charges Thursday in Boston Juvenile Court.

The teen faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office.

A judge set the juvenile’s bail at $50,000. If he posts that, he must wear a GPS monitor and remain confined at home. His next court date is set for Nov.
