Swihart hits walk-off double to beat Phillies

Star Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper has been made available to opposing teams ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET non-waiver Trade Deadline, a source told's Mark Feinsand on Monday night.

The Indians and Nationals have communicated recently regarding a possible Harper trade, sources told's Jon Paul Morosi earlier Monday, but the discussions hadn't gathered much momentum.

The Braves acquired left fielder Adam Duvall from the Reds on Monday in a trade involving right-handers Lucas Sims and Matt Wisler and outfielder Preston Tucker.

The 29-year-old Duvall -- a National League All-Star in 2016 - is under team control through 2021 and is not arbitration eligible until the winter of '19, and so he represents a controllable asset for a Braves team fighting for the NL East title.
