The Red Sox can’t seem to be anything to get out of this funk they are in. They just got swept two times in a row and then faced off against the Braves in a little interleague play. Porcello was on the mound for the Sox in hopes of being the stopper the team desperately needed. Porcello didn’t pitch poorly, but he got little run support and got his 7th loss of the season. The Red Sox can’t get out of their own way and are now at a losing streak that is 7 games long.
Porcello looked to be cruising in the early inning, but it all started to go wrong for him in the 4th.
