It’s cliche to say the red hot Red Sox took care of business in Kansas City on their way to Detroit. Especially since the team is 5-5 over their last ten games despite 4 convincing wins over the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. However here we are. Somehow the team’s record simply doesn't match how the team looks when they win. With and expected win/loss record of 24-18 vs the actual 22-20 mark, the numbers bear this out. (Sadly the Yankees would still be in first place in the expected win/loss reality at 27-13.
