For most of Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays, the bullpen for the Red Sox was masterful.
Only for most of it, however.
Russell Martin crushed a solo home run off Matt Barnes to lead off the 11th inning as Toronto, which squandered an early 4-0 lead, earned a 5-4 win in front of a crowd of 37,158 at Fenway Park.
The win marked the 10th straight for the scorching hot Blue Jays, while the Red Sox dropped a season-high fifth in a row.
Until that point, the Boston bullpen allowed just three hits in four innings with no baserunners advancing into scoring position against the most prolific offense in the major leagues.
