Red Sox prospect nicknamed ‘The Password’ became a ‘Jeopardy!’ clue

The Red Sox have made plenty of headlines this season when it comes to their blue-chip prospects in Kristian Campbell, Marcelo Mayer, and Roman Anthony.

But another youngster in Boston’s minor-league system already made the rounds on the national TV circuit this week — due to his unique (and hard-to-spell) name.

During Monday’s episode of “Jeopardy!” a clue read: “It’s something many use every day to unlock things online & the nickname of Red Sox prospect Jhostynxon Garcia.”

The answer was “password” — referencing Garcia’s creative nickname of “The Password.”

One contestant, Miles Tepper, successfully answered host Ken Jennings’ prompt for $400.
