Red Sox prospect Jhostynxon Garcia will represent the club at the 2025 MLB All-Star Futures game, the league announced Monday.
The 23-year-old outfielder is hitting .275 with 12 home runs and 40 RBI this season. The bulk of that production came after he was called up to Class AAA Worcester.
Garcia, the No. 5 prospect in the Red Sox farm system according to MLB.com, is was the only Red Sox prospect invited to the game. Roman Anthony and Marcelo Mayer, the club’s top two prospects, were recently called up to Boston. They both played in the Futures Game last season.
