Red Sox pitchers Garrett Crochet, Aroldis Chapman named to All-MLB first team

While the Red Sox‘ playoff run didn’t go as hoped, that didn’t prevent a pair of their best players from receiving a top honor.

Star pitchers Garrett Crochet and Aroldis Chapman were both named to the All-MLB first team Thursday night.

The two lefties are the first Red Sox pitchers to earn All-MLB honors since it began in 2019. Chapman was also awarded the 2025 Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year, with Crochet finishing second in AL Cy Young voting.

After being traded to the Sox back in April, Crochet made sure they didn’t regret it.
