Red Sox OF Roman Anthony goes hitless in MLB debut

The Boston Red Sox called up outfielder Roman Anthony, the No. 1 prospect in baseball, on Monday afternoon, hopeful he can provide a jolt to a team that has disappointed so far this season.

Anthony started in right field and batted fifth during a 10-8 home loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in 11 innings.

The 21-year-old went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout. He notched his first career RBI when Rafael Devers scored on a groundout in the bottom of the ninth inning.
