By all accounts, the Red Sox have one of the game’s very best farm systems. (FanGraphs, which still counts the Roman Anthony, Kristian Campbell, and Marcelo Mayer as prospects, currently pegs the Sox as the best system in baseball, but also says the system is well above average outside of the Big Three). But the Futures Game rosters were just announced and only one Sox prospect made the cut: Jhostynxon Garcia. It was one year ago that Anthony won the skills contest, so hopefully we get a repeat. Garcia has made a name for himself with his power (and also with his, uh, name), hitting nine homers over the course of his first 33 AAA games.
