The streak is over. Rafael Devers did not homer in St. Pete last night, two games shy of the all-time record of eight straight games with a home run. But he still helped the Red Sox win (and on the base paths, too!) and he appears to be headed to a return to the All-Star Game in July. (Peter Abraham, Boston Globe)
Jarren Duran very well may join Raffy at the Mid-Summer Classic in Arlington. He’s been outstanding not only with the bat and with his legs, but in the outfield as well, where a quicker first step has turned him into one of the best defenders in the game.
