This was a tough loss for the PawSox, who spent most of this game winning 4-0. Weber then allowed a run in his final inning of work before the bullpen absolutely imploded in the eighth. Most of that was Lakins, who allowed all three batters he faced to reach base. Kelley then came in and allow a sac fly and then a three-run, two-out home run. Besides the bullpen’s implosion, the top story here is obviously Moreland’s rehab starting up. He didn’t have a great day, but the Red Sox will be happy to have him back on the team.
