The Red Sox got both of their prospects into the Futures Game, with mixed results. For Downs, he did have the one strikeout in there but he also had a hard-hit double hit off Brewers prospect Ethan Small. It was the only extra-base hit for the American League side all day. Meanwhile, Bello came on to pitch with one out in the third, and the first pitch he threw was ripped by Cardinals prospect Nolan Gorman for a double.
