Red Sox have officially made bumpy plane ride their rallying cry with new merch

If you've watched a Boston Red Sox game since July 30, you may have seen the players celebrate by sticking their arms out to their sides. They do the celebration after hits, as they round the bases for home runs, and even the players in the dugout get in on it.

The celebration originates from Boston's turbulent flight to Minnesota on July 27. Multiple players were left motion sick after the flight, which took a brief stop in Detroit before continuing through the choppy skies to Minnesota. The plane departed Boston at 7:30 p.m, ET, and the Red Sox didn't arrive at their final destination until around 1 a.
