Red Sox CBO Craig Breslow reportedly prioritizing finding a GM this offseason

The Red Sox’ 2025 season is still ongoing, but the team’s already making some plans for 2026. Well, at least from a front office standpoint.

Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow has prioritized trying to find a general manager who’ll serve as a second-in-command this offseason, WEEI’s Rob Bradford reported.

The general manager position has been vacant since Breslow was hired to run the Red Sox’ baseball operations ahead of the 2024 season. However, the general manager position for the Red Sox has had a lesser influence in recent years compared to the early seasons of John Henry’s ownership.
