Red Sox beat the Phillies 6-2

The Red Sox looked great today, beating the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 6-2

Eduardo Rodriguez was fantastic, going 7 innings while walking one, striking out 7 and allowing 8 hits. Rodriguez ran into trouble a couple of times but was able to pitch around a weak Phillie’s lineup to avoid any big innings.

The Red Sox bats were very efficient and struck early, scoring 2 in the first and 4 in the second. Some highlights of the game were a 2 run blast by David Ortiz to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
