The Red Sox are coming off a win on Tuesday night, and they will look to make it two in a row in Buffalo tonight. Originally, the plan was for Nathan Eovaldi to get the start for this one, but that changed last night. Apparently, Eovaldi is dealing with a minor injury in his calf and has been pushed back. For now, the plan is for him to get the start on Saturday against the Nationals, though it seems possible that could be delayed again.
More immediately, though, Colten Brewer takes the mound for this one in Eovaldi’s stead.
