An already busy offseason for the Red Sox got busier Tuesday morning.

Per Jeff Passan, the Red Sox have sent LHP Brandon Clarke and RHP Richard Fitts in exchange for Cardinals right-hander Sonny Gray and $20 million.

Gray is going into his 14th season in MLB, playing across five different organizations. He has a 3.58 ERA for his career, while playing for the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, and St. Louis Cardinals.

Last year with the Cardinals, Gray posted a 4.28 ERA on his way to going 14-8 over the course of the season.
