The Red Sox were all set to got run off the field tonight against the Braves on national television, pushing them to their fifth straight loss and a supremely disappointing 22-25 record on the year, until they weren’t, and a stirring late comeback was capped off by a Rafael Devers walkoff dinger, leaving the team elated and one game under .500 headed into Sunday’s rubber game.
