Admittedly, I have watched very little Red Sox baseball during the regular season–with a 1st grader who has more of a social life than me, it’s not surprising…
But holy hell, this series caught me RIGHT up with all the stress and the cursing, and the pacing, and the yelling, and the jumping up and down. I was having flashbacks to 2003 and 2004, especially in the 9th inning when Kimbrel could not throw a strike to save his life and I thought they we going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory…And then there were the Papelbon flashback and his manyMANY meltdowns on the mound.
