The Red Sox and Guardians did battle for the third time in three days and, readers, I missed the first few innings. It’s a long story. My car died and I lost my house keys and it’s a whole thing. Obviously I got back in the house. When I did, I learned that the Sox struck first on a freakin’ balk in the third inning by Guardians starter Ben Lively, fresh off the IL:
