Baseball games are always a little bit more fun when the World Series champions are on the field. And Fenway Park is usually a lot more fun when when there’s a large and vocal rival fanbase in town (though obviously there’s a tipping point at which you get too many rival fans in the ballpark, and Fenway has arguably reached that threshold a few times over the last several years).
Tonight, we get the Dodgers, fresh off a non-COVID championship. Coupled with the fact that the trade market is heating up as we approach the deadline, this feels like it could be a big weekend.
