The Red Sox are 7-3 and in second place in the AL East, one game behind the New York Yankees. Sure the Athletics and Angels aren’t necessarily the best teams but last year Boston started the season getting swept by the Pittsburgh Pirates who were, checks notes, bad.
The Sox off today and tomorrow is Opening Day.
