ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Alex Cora wanted to see a quick-strike offense from the Red Sox this year.
He got one.
The Sox finished their three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels last night with a 8-2 win sparked by a pair of homers. Mookie Betts led off the game with his sixth, and Andrew Benintendi hit first of the year in the sixth inning.
When Benintendi lifted a chest-high 89 mph fastball over the scoreboard in right field, the checklist was complete: Every one of the Red Sox' non-catcher regulars now has hit a home run.
