Jhostynxon Garcia was called up to Worcester on May 20. Since then, all he has done is hit nine home runs including one last night, slug .603 (!!!) and lead the team in batting average while only committing two errors so far at right field, which, to a Red Sox team that leads the league in errors, is excusable. The hitting wasn’t contagious, though: The WooSox had just five hits on the night in Wilkes-Barre (Yankees AAA) and Tyler Uberstine let two balls leave the park in his four innings, though the WooSox pitching staff, including Jordan Hicks, did strike thirteen Rail Riders out.
