Four hits? That’s all this Red Sox team could muster? I guess that’s one way of missing RISP left on base; just don’t get on base. I know it’s a 162-game season but inconsistencies with the offense are absolutely brutal to watch. Roman Anthony is playing left field again, to which I wrote recently about calling him up. A lot of y’all said Fatse should be gone before Anthony comes up. Maybe that’s not the worst idea at this point.
Also a rough outing for Crochet. Even with nine strikeouts, his command just wasn’t there today and his innings pitch counts were consistency too high.
