Fans heading to see the Red Sox take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the World Series at Fenway Park should be prepared for a chilly — and possibly damp — evening.
The National Weather Service says a storm, passing over southern New England on Tuesday, will bring “numerous” showers and even a few rumbles of thunder to the region during the day.
In Boston, the bulk of the showers are forecast to develop between 10 a.m. and noon, but NWS meteorologist Kim Buttrick says they will continue “off and on” throughout the rest of the day, exiting east of city after 7 p.
