After Wednesday’s departure of John Farrell, the search for a new Red Sox manager has begun. A couple names have been kicked around as a potential replacement, but Dave Dombrowski gave no indication of which way the club was leaning in a press conference at Fenway Park.
Former Red Sox infielder Kevin Youkilis shared his thoughts on who he’d like to see interview for the job. The two-time World Series champion tweeted shortly after the news broke: “Hoping Demarlo Hale and [Alex Cora] get an interview to be Red Sox manager.”
