Pitcher David Price’s feud with NESN broadcaster Dennis Eckersley has garnered plenty of attention from the media, fans, and his current teammates, but former Red Sox players are also starting to weigh in on the contentious situation.
On Sunday, David Ortiz suggested that Price should apologize if that would allow for everyone involved to move on. Seeing as though the leftie appears to have no intentions of doing so, Price might want to heed the advice from one of Ortiz’s teammates instead.
“The healing of all wounds is winning,” two-time World Series champion Kevin Youkilis told WEEI’s Rob Bradford and Evan Drellich.
