CINCINNATI -- Jose Iglesias has some advice for Red Sox phenom Yoan Moncada.
"Pick an American roommate, try to learn English as quick as possible, and work hard every day," the Detroit Tigers' All-Star shortstop said today. "I heard he has amazing talent. He's just got to put in the effort and he'll be in the big leagues soon."
If anyone can relate to Moncada's recent whirlwind, it's Iglesias, who fled Cuba (Moncada left voluntarily) in 2009 and signed with the Red Sox as a 19-year-old, the same age as Moncada when he joined the Red Sox in March.
