ESPN’s mid-game Spring Training interviews are becoming quite an eventful tradition.
Red Sox centerfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. was mic’d up Wednesday afternoon for a live interview from the outfield with the broadcast booth during the second inning of the team’s exhibition game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The discussion touched on the sunny Florida weather, Bradley’s offseason, and his outfield alignment card.
“It says play this guy right here,” Bradley joked to announcer Alex Rodriguez, just as the crack of the bat sent a fly ball his way.
