BOSTON -- A day after leaving the Red Sox's game against the Brewers with a right trapezius strain, Hanley Ramirez is not yet ready to return to Boston's lineup.
Manager John Farrell said Ramirez showed up to the park Friday "a little bit improved," and would be re-evaluated before the Red Sox's game against the Rays.
"Even as the day wore on yesterday, some of those spasms began to release a little bit," Farrell said. "Overnight, they were improved gradually once again, but it was clear once we spoke to him this morning he was going to need at least today.
