As we pass the 90-game mark in the 2025 MLB season, my team of the first half isn't the well-rounded Detroit Tigers, who do get our highest grade, or the explosive Chicago Cubs or Shohei Ohtani's Los Angeles Dodgers, but a team most baseball fans love to hate: the Houston Astros. They lost their two best players from last season and their best hitter has been injured -- and they're playing their best baseball since they won the 2022 World Series.
