Recent injuries will have their fingerprints all over today’s game:
- Hunter Dobbins gets the start for the Sox replacing Walker Buehler on the mound.
- Romy Gonzalez will be at first base as the team begins the rest of the season without Triston Casas.
- While he hasn’t gone on the IL, Kristian Campbell is once again missing from the lineup. In his place, David Hamilton is at second base and batting seventh.
The weakened lineup will has big shoes to fill and will likely put more stress on Dobbins than he’s experienced so far in his brief (two game) major league career.
