What a walk-off last night! I won’t comment on the trade deadline here, or grumble about our starting rotation. (Oh, wait…did I just…)
Walker Buehler (who coincidentally seems to start whenever I recap) showed definite signs of improvement in July, even if he was searching a bit for his command in his last outing against the Dodgers. But I’m willing to keep an open mind there.
Oh, who am I kidding? I was supposed to fly out this morning for a family vacation but I’m still heavily medicated and not able to sit down long enough to get on a plane so I’m not in the mood for Buehler to take a day off.
