The top three of the Red Sox rotation is certainly an elite commodity, but it’s difficult to proclaim Chris Sale, David Price and Rick Porcello to be the best trio in the game. There are a couple of other teams, primarily the Nationals, Indians and Astros, who can go mano a mano a mano with the top of the Red Sox’ rotation. That’s not to say the Red Sox trio won’t be the best this season — it’s just too soon to say that.
