ESPN is set to air a three-part documentary series about the Red Sox this month, the network announced Monday.
The new, original series, is called “Believers” and it will premiere on the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers on Sept. 26.
The series will explore the Red Sox’ haunted past as the team went 86 years in between championships from 1918 to 2004, and faith’s role in guiding a city, franchise, and fan base in this process.
“Believers chronicles how that enduring faith, a remarkable group of players, and a city ready for change came together to break one of the most notorious curses in sports,” the network said in a press release.
