“On the scouting side, it’s widely discussed that lefty starters struggle in Fenway,” one National League scout said yesterday.
It’s a concern, but probably not as big of a concern as you may think.
“If you have a left-hander that has the (extraordinary) ability to keep the ball on the ground or get strikeouts, then it plays anywhere,” an American League scout said.
