BOSTON -- Perhaps Mookie Betts will cool off at some point this season. But it hasn't happened yet.
The right fielder continued his season-long tear when he belted his 15th homer of the season, a two-run shot over the Green Monster that snapped a 1-1 tie with one out in the fifth.
The homer put Betts back into sole possession for first in the Major Leagues, passing Orioles shortstop Manny Machado.
Betts got all of it, hitting the home run a projected distance of 406 feet, according to Statcast™, against Orioles righty Dylan Bundy.
