Sure, the Red Sox are still in first place, but now they are sharing it with two other teams. The Sox are in a three way tie for 1st place with the Blue Jays and the Yankees. The Red Sox were able to split a 4 game series with the O’s and then they lost a series to the Rays. The Sox are lucky to still be hanging on to a piece of 1st place at this point.
